Kind of - as we don't do runs or events, there's not much point joining unless you are after a Club Permit.
Nope. We don't have rules like that - if you want a club permit and have an eligible vehicle, we can get you organised quickly.
Our fee for new members is $150 which includes a joining fee for the vehicle and your first year of membership.
If you are an existing member and you are plating a second vehicle then only the $100 fee applies.
VicRoads fees are in addition to ours - their fees are listed here.
We are Geelong based and will normally visit you if you live in the area. We can still help with a remote sign up process if you live anywhere in Victoria.
Yes, we can still still help no matter where you are in Victoria. Contact us and we will send you the details of the process and what we need from you.
The process for getting a club permit for your vehicle is the same - even if you have it on full registration in your name. That is, you need a Roadworthy Certificate and we need to see the vehicle and fill in the paperwork with you.
We don't do social events - we can help you get your club permit without the bullshit, and you are free to attend social events with other clubs.
Start by visiting our renewal page here
You will need to contact VicRoads and arrange to get a replacement. They will usually ask you to sign a Statutory Declaration.
Don't panic yet - VicRoads will renew your permit up to 90 days form the expiry date. Obviously you can't use the vehicle until you pay your renewal. If it's been longer than 90 days, then you can panic as you'll need to get a roadworthy and go through the process again.
Renewal notices are normally sent our between 5 and 6 weeks ahead of the expiry date. If it's getting close to renewal time, then contact VicRoads. It your responsibility to make sure your permit is current.
Sure - simply present a copy of your VASS (Engineer's certificate) along with your roadworthy. We won't do stuff that's outside the rules.
That's a big secret. Actually, it's not a big deal - Modified and Historic.
No problem. Check the "Join" page for details. It's really pretty easy to transfer.
